| by Danny O Sagun LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, August 3 (PIA) -- The provincial government in cooperation with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has scheduled “Agew na Propesyonal” (Professional Day) from August to December in five different venues. The PRC will provide the following services: processing of application for renewal of Identification cards (ID), issuance of Certification of Good Standing, processing of application for licensure examinations (nurses, criminologists, certified public accountants, etc.), and release of Professional ID cards and Board Certificates. For central Pangasinan, the Professional Day will be on August 8 at the Provincial Training Center at the Capitol compound, and on August 26 at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in barangay Bolingit in San Carlos City. Those from eastern Pangasinan can avail of the PRC services on October 7 at the Urdaneta District Hospital in Urdaneta City, and on October 12 at the Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital in Tayug town. It will be the turn of professionals from the western section on December 2 at the Western Pangasinan District Hospital in Alaminos City. In his July 29 letter to agency heads, Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr, urged them to disseminate the information to their respective personnel. Requirements for renewal include two recent passport-size colored pictures in white background with complete name tag, one photocopy of latest Professional ID card. In case of loss, a duly-notarized affidavit of loss or photocopy of Certificate of Registration. Married female applicants who wish to apply for change of name have to submit Marriage Certificate in security paper from the National Statistics Office. Also required are the following: For geodetic engineers, GEP membership ID or Certificate of Good Standing; electronic engineers, IECEP Certification of Good Standing; architects, UAP membership ID or Certification of Good Standing; agricultural engineer, PSA Certificate of Good Standing; REE/RME, IIEE membership ID or Certification of Good Standing; and customs broker, Certification of Good Standing from CCBI. Those who applied for renewal of Professional ID card at the PRC Baguio regional office and wanted to claim it on August 8 at the Capitol have been advised to text PRC at 09179612510 or 09219693919 or email PRC at prcbaguio.regulations.renewal@gmail.com at least three to four days before the scheduled date with the following information: venue where to claim (Lingayen), name, profession, registration number and date filed. The basic requirements for exams include: original and photocopy of Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purposes,” original and photocopy of birth certificate issued by the NSO in security paper (if NSO copy is not legible, submit copy of birth certificate from local civil registrar), original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate issued by the NSO in security paper, three pieces of recent passport-size colored pictures in plain white background with complete name tag, 2011 community tax certificate, one piece of window envelope with postage stamp worth P9, and examination fee of P900.
