Haha, no, this (the picture) is not happening to Urdaneta City or anywhere in the Philippines, but we bet that this is how a lot of Filipinos in the North felt this morning. With temperatures dipping to as low as 10 degrees Celcius in the early morning - a huge contrast with the normal 30 degress Celcius during the day, Urdanetans are sure to bring out their best jackets and "winter" clothes for this season. "Tipid nga sa kuryente dahil hindi na kailangan mag-aircon, pero ubos naman gas pang-painit ng paligo!" complains a resident.
It won't last only until December, though. PAGASA officials predict that this cold front will linger until the early months of 2009.
