DAGUPAN CITY -- About 20 young Pangasinenses will be competing in this year's Miss Magic, a beauty pageant tagged as the most glamorous and most prestigious beauty pageant in the province.
Magic Group of Companies presented last Wednesday the official candidates in the pageant, namely, Cypress Olivas (Asingan), Diana Ruth Pagsolingan (Calasiao), Ma. Rowena Abdon (Manaoag), Rochelle Carlos (Dagupan City), Kheus Jane Amansec (Pozorrubio), Mille Palisoc (San Carlos City), Ellen Ollero (Urdaneta City), Gemmafer Mejia (Binmaley), Kris Alliane Crisulo (San Carlos City), Mae Ann Pagador (Alaminos City), Rominique Cabading (Villasis), Jean Kimberly Ann Oraza (Dagupan City), Braphine Sheen Palisoc (Urbiztondo), Josielyn Rodriquez (Lingayen), Allyza Marie Bernabe (Bayambang), Princess Bautista (Binmaley), Renee Grace Palaganas (Mangaldan), Fely Rose Garcia (Binmaley), Whitney Tibayan (Tayug), and Benelyn Nietes (Villasis).
Marc Brian Lim, chief executive officer (CEO) of Magic Group of Companies, said the Miss Magic beauty pageant was organized to provide opportunities for education, growth and cultural exchange for young Pangasinense women.
It also aims to provide a forum for young Pangasinan women to display their skills and talents; to create a forum for entertainment, relaxation and social contacts; to create brand awareness for Magic and its sponsors; and to differentiate Magic from competitors.
Lim said the pageant is meant to accent the positive qualities among today's women and foster and promote worthwhile ideals.
"Now on its seventh edition, the pageant aims to leave an echoing mark. To the candidates, a worthwhile experience that they will cherish for the rest of their lives; to the organizers, for the seemingly insurmountable task of making a trend-setting production, innovative and interactive promo hypes; and to our customers, for this is one of Magic Group of Companies' way of extending gratitude to their continued patronage to the company," he stated.
The pageant night will be held on May 10, 2008 at the Urdaneta Sports Complex in Urdaneta City
