San Roque Dam to release minimal water

Public Service Announcement: Water level at San Roque Dam has reached 276 meters above sea level (masl) as of 6:35pm tonight (august 2) and heavy rains continue to bring in more water. To lower reservoir elevation, NPC has decided to undertake pre-emptive dam water release as the rate of 330 cubic meters per second (cms) starting at 10pm tonight. At this rate of water release, the water level at Agno River will not be affected and there is no cause for alarm. Just the same, Gov. Espino advises MDRRMCs of towns along Agno River to take precautionary measures – Provincial Administrator Raffy Baraan.
