#UrdanetaCity during curfew hours. Photos taken during food distribution for Checkpoint frontliners.

Firsthand experience. It is definitely no joke for our frontliners to watch our city at night to ensure the health and safety of every Urdanetizen. It is dark, damp, and now, even rainy with mosquitoes everywhere. They do their duty every day and every night, all night.

They only have monobloc chairs to sit on until morning comes. Sometimes they are thirsty, buy there are no open stores to buy from.

Then there are those in violation of curfew / ECQ / social distancing who still put up a fight.

They also have to wear masks even with their saliva and sweat all dried up.

We, on the other hand, are comfortable in our homes, just browsing online or watching TV.
Maybe we had sardines again for dinner but they are happy with a simple goto or sandwich.

So here's a little salute to you. And thank you so much for your sacrifice.
