Victory Liner equips all its buses with free Wi-Fi

MANILA, Philippines — On its 66th year of service, Victory Liner – one of the largest and most trusted bus companies in the country – has come up with another innovation to make long-distance traveling even more fun and convenient.
Victory Liner passengers can now continue surfing the Internet while onboard the Victory Liner buses, because the company provides free Wi-Fi connection in each Victory Liner provincial bus.
With this free service, passengers can maintain their online productivity even as they make long trips to Subic, Pangasinan, Baguio, Tarlac, Pampanga, and even Tuguegarao. The buses’ free Internet access allows you to check and reply to email messages, download file attachments, update your Facebook and Twitter status, write on your blog, and even play online games while you’re on the road. Before you know it, you’re at your destination, and not a single moment had been wasted during your travel.
Marivic del Pilar, head of Victory Liner’s treasury and marketing department, explains, “It’s no secret that a lot of people today do their work and get their entertainment online. So when we were brainstorming on what additional services we could provide our passengers, it was an easy decision to add free Internet access to our provincial lines.
“Of course, when we were looking for a service provider, we chose the one with the best customer reviews we could find,” Ms. Del Pilar adds. Today, Victory Liner’s 200 provincial buses are equipped with free Wi-Fi signal from Sun
Broadband. Their service allows the most number of passengers to use the Internet comfortable, all at the same time.
