Pag-IBIG now accepts calamity loan applications

DAGUPAN CITY, Oct. 7 (PIA) -- The Home Development Mutual (Pag-IBIG) Fund – Dagupan branch announced that they are accepting calamity loan applications for its Pangasinan members.



Information Officer Huge Olarte said the calamity loan application is open to residents or workers in areas in the province declared under the state of calamity due to typhoons Pedring and Quiel. Applicants should also be active members of the fund, who have contributed at least 24 months worth of payments.



Qualified applicants should submit a fully accomplished calamity loan application form, their latest pay slip and photocopy of two valid IDs to the Pag-IBIG Office in Arellano Street, this city.

For the convenience of member-applicants, the fund will also conduct an offsite receiving of applications in four other venues on the following dates: Provincial Capitol in Lingayen town on October 12; Alaminos City hall on October 13; Urdaneta City hall on October 14 and San Carlos City hall on October 17.

Thiis move is part of government efforts to extend assistance to Pangasinenses who were badly affected by the recent calamities. (ANL/VHS-PIA 1 Pangasinan)
