Only days to go before we help bring change to the Philippines through a clean honest election! We should have been able to mail out our absentee voter ballot by May 1 or earlier to make sure the Consulate receives it before May 7! Remember---no mail delivery on May 8,9--Saturday and Sunday so they better receive our sacred ballot before May 7!!!
DO NOT GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE AND TO HELP CHOOSE THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES! IF YOU HAVEN'T RECEIVED YOUR BALLOTS YET, CONTACT OR GO TO YOUR NEAREST PHILIPPINE CONSULATE!
You need to do the following IMMEDIATELY:
1. Present a valid Philippine or US photo ID card at the Consulate.
2. If sending a representative to claim the ballot, the voter must provide a NOTARIZED authorization letter and a copy of a valid Philippine/US ID for both the voter and the representative.
3. If voters want their ballots mailed to them, you must fax or mail a notarized letter of request to the Philippine Consulate General along with a copy of valid ID.
