People even from the far flung barrios have flocked downtown to enjoy what a new city has got to offer. Bright lights, a vibrant night life, beer, popcorn, movies, ice cream and other candy coated fast food.
It is the day after the week-long fiesta.
The booths are torn down and their contents given away or divided among those involved. The costumes put away for another God-knows-what event. Trophies and sashes now decorate the homes of those who dared to compete and win in the many contests cooked up for the events.
